Of a Romanian origin, but living in Nicosia Cyprus since 1999, she had her first spotlight as a designer, in the summer of 2002 when she introduced her haute couture collection named (The Dream) simultaneously launching her label RAMON FILIP. Ever since she has been staging two shows a year, as well as participating in private show rooms during Milan and Paris fashion weeks taking the first step towards the international fashion industry. In 2005 she opened a boutique, carrying her own brand at the Hilton Hotel in Nicosia. Since 2007, due to her great reviews during Hellenic Fashion Week, she received an invitation to join the Hellenic Fashion Designer Association as a full member. Appreciating her work, the Greek mega chain Raxevski, with over 50 shops in Greece and Europe, requested the design of an exclusive parallel line under the name Ramona Filip for Raxevski. She is operating from her studio in Nicosia, which has become a hot house for evening dresses and prêt-a-porter de luxe. Her collections are timeless, elegant and luxurious, enhancing the feminine silhouette through simple and contemporary designs.
